1. If you have runic recovery III or something like that on two items, will they stack? How about if you have runic recovery II and runic recovery III?

2. What does ministration actually do? give better heals or what?

3. What does subjugation actually do? it says this is how well you use spells to command pets and control monsters...but what does that mean? does it make your pet more deadly or what?

Ministration does make your heals heal a bit better, closer to the cap at anyrate, it may also reduce the mana cost a bit, I dont know in eq2 but it does in eq1. All of the spell skills do essentially the same thing, makes the spell hit more (less resists) for more damage (but it won't increase crit rates). So its usefull to try and keep those skills up, more so for pure casters (wizard for example) than for mystics who are almost a hybrid of mele and spells.

Minsitration is supposed to reduce the power cost of heals slightly, never seemed dramatic enough to worry about. Ministration used to also affect fizzle chance on those spells. In a post fizzle Norrath, I really don't put a lot of value on ministration.

I thought subjugation made the mez have better chance to hit. Damage spells are disruption, debuffs are ordination. I think casting pet might also be subjugation if you want something to do to try to skill it up, though I doubt it has any effect on ability to cast pet.

Not sure about the stacking of the same type of cast/recast speed enhancement. Hadn't occurred to me that they might not till reading you post, but does seem possible.

Don't forget a bit of focus so you're less likely to be interupted.

Runic Recovery, Benevolent Alacrity etc.. I can confirm does stack, you will notice a difference if you examine the group ward spell before and equipping items with this on.

However.. as with most things, these are subject to diminishing returns and the more of it you have, the less of a benefit. This also stacks with Reuse%, and Casting%.

Ministration as Baccalarium says used to affect the chance of a heal spell fizzling. This is no longer the case and if you increase your ministration skill above the level cap (400 @ level 80) it will begin to reduce the power cost of spells that use this skill. Ministration does not increase the power of healing spells, this is based on any bonuses to base and your heal mod only.

Beneficial Ordination spells such as Bolster are also affected by this if you raise your ORDINATION skill. SUBJUGATION works in exactly the same way, Mystics only have 2 spells that use this though, your dethreat (Spirits) increases the accuracy of this and therefore chance that it is resisted, and your temporary pet Lunar attendant. Subjugation will lower the power cost of this skill however, this is not really worth it because the spell is so cheap.

Hope this helps

Whitemaelstrom

Here is some data I collected while inspecting Umbral Warding after adding casting and reuse haste. The values for casting and reuse haste were always around 2-3% difference, so I just used the casting data in the chart below as the "Actual Casting" value.

Modified 1/6/10: Updated broken image links.

If you have two items with runic recovery I, you will get the effect from only one item, but you can stack multiple versions of runic recovery. I, II, III, and IV. It's pretty nice when you get the effect of the different ones added together.

Haste effects do stack, even if they are the same exact haste level, i.e. I, II, III. and IV.

Modified 1/3/10: Removed broken image links.

It's the same with Reuse Haste Effects also.

Modified 1/3/10: Removed broken image links.

Perhaps it changed while I was at Basic Training then, because they used to not stack.
