Sony should remove this page from their site.

http://gamecards.station.sony.com/i...m?page=bbgc2008

I went to FIVE different Best Buy stores here in Oklahoma. Not only did they not carry the game cards they didn't even have a clue of what I was talking about. The "PC gaming guy" didn't even know what eqII was.

On top of that the only EQII product sold on their website is the older Rise of Kunark boxset and that is all.

Sorry but I don't believe all Best Buys are like that. I know my local carries at least a few copies of the latest expansion along with a few Game Cards. I have even gone to my local one long after most of the expansions were out and they still carried at least a couple of them.

Of course they also carried what seems like hundreds of copies of WOW.

As far as software goes you can download it through Steam or Direct2drive.com

That's regrettable to hear! My guess is the stores around that area didn't see any demand for the time cards so none were ordered. There are certainly some in the nearby Best Buys (granted, we're based in San Diego) - A refillable credit card would certainly be a good alternative as well.

Guess I just got a state that doesn't like EQ2 lol. I was in Oklahoma City over the weekend (it's a three hour drive from the other stores I mentioned) and they didn't even know what it was either.

Although they had a million WoW and Warhammer cards.

I'm surprised EQ 1 and 2 are still online if this is the knowledge of the stores how are people supposed to find out about it? Or if they do and want to buy it they will probably give up because it's such a hassle. I know I would have if I hadn't played before.
