Station Launcher

<p>Installed the new Station Launcher this morning, I was logged in one my one account and started the installation on my other screename on the same computer, not sure if that was a stupid thing to do or not.</p><p>Anyway, to cut a long story short, its decided to dl over 8gb of files and is downloading it at 120kb a second and wont be finished for 21 hours howl. So I'm presuming it's decided it needs to dl the whole game or something.</p><p>Suggestions gratefully received.</p>

<p>same here also when it finished and started game my ui wont work any more tryed redownlading it and and reinstaling Eq2.... all i get is the defalt EQ2 ui cant load anyother uis</p>

<p>I had same problem, it wants to D/L enitire game again. They should of told us this in the annoncement page...oh by the way if you want to try the new Station Launcher it will take 20+ hours to complete everything. GOD Bless you SOE</p>

<p>The newest Station Launcher version is currently defaulting to a new location for some systems (Vista, in particular) to a location where administrative issues aren't a problem and the game will have the easiest time patching when necessary. If you head to the 'Station' menu in the new launcher and click 'preferences' - You can head to the EverQuest 2 area from there and set where you'd like the game to be downloaded/run at.</p>

Is the update for downloading the trial supposed to take all day? You would think you would not need the entire game for the trial. Seems I am not the only one with this issue.

<p>The trial will end up downloading all content that can possibly be accessed by the player at any given time. That's actually a fair bit of territory! Though if it seems to be taking an un-naturally long time still, please let me know!</p>
