EQ2 Client Crashing at startup

<p>this is on my second machine which I haven't used since the LU52. </p><p>So I think it's that patch the goofed it up. I know it was working before that. </p><p>It displays the temp everquest 2 marque that wasn't there before (i think it's the voice chat but I'm guessing)</p><p>then goes full screen and crashes...</p><p>I've removed cache</p><p>, eq2_default and eq2_recent and character files</p><p>and done a full scan</p><p>but it still crashes...the game has worked flawlessly on this computer till now...</p><p>anything else I can try?</p><p>oh and I turned off my ONeCare both firewall and virus check but that didn't help.</p>

<p>I found it in the EQII folder, but did do a Search to locate it. Thanks for the tip, I had the same crash and deleting the file cleared things up for me. </p>
