<p><span style="font-size: small; font-family: arial black,avant garde;">There is a problem with Fairpoint Communications DNS servers at the moment. If you are a fairpoint customer and have called to find out about it, you probably haven't figured out how to fix it. Though the DNS servers won't be back up for a while, mostly because they aren't a very handy group of people, there is a quick fix.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: small; font-family: arial black,avant garde;">The quick fix is this: Start > Run > ncpa.cpl > Right click Local Area Connection > Hit Properties > Click TCP/IPv4 > Hit properties > Change your DNS to dynamic > go to opendns.com and find a primary and secondary dns to use > set it > play EQ2.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: small; font-family: arial black,avant garde;">Hope this helps for anyone with this issue.
