I was leaning towards a warden at first, then i thought about a shaman type... but honestly im not sure, would like some other options.

The only healers i've played personally are templar and, to a lesser extent, my paladin.

I would not go with a druid. The fast cast times make it harder to 2box, but any shaman or cleric will do fine. Mystic or Inquisitor would be a bit more offensive and Templar or Defiler would be more defensive.

I'd say Defiler.

Pre-Ward = Win

Defilers have buffs for the tank that proc damage (Negating as much need to swap back and forth to get more DPS)

They also have buffs for the tank that proc DPS debuffs on the mobs hitting them. (Negating the need to swap back and forth as much to debuff mobs or groups of mobs.)

Add in the defiler ward totem they can throw down that lasts for a minute and you have another swap-free healer there.

Add in defile that the defiler can throw down and you have an out of encounter AOE that you don't have to swap back over for.

I say they're your best bet for fire-and-forget benefit.

Thanks for the replies, that was the kind of insight I needed. Sounds like a defiler is definately gonna the better choice.
