Server wont load

<p>i am at a hotel in Guatemala and trying to play the game but once it goes into server load i will not get a loading activitie and kicks me back to character selection. CAn anyone help me on this please</p>

<p>Greetings,</p><p>I assume you are usually able to log in with that laptop?  Did the problem start when you arrived at the hotel or after the recent update to the game? </p><p>Let's make sure it isn't a firewall issue first.  If you are running a firewall then please open the exception list for that program and delete any entries for EQ2, Everquest 2, and launchpad.  The next time you start the game you will be prompted to allow or deny again, and you will want to select allow.</p><p>It's also possible that the hotel is simply blocking the ports used by the game to connect.  If that's the case then the only solution is to bypass their router or have them forward ports for you.  Sadly, most hotels will be hesitant to take those steps.  I would advise trying the firewall steps first and we'll see what we can do from there.</p>
