Battle line question

<p>hello.  I just betrayed to an inquis.  Im at 101 melee crit...should I go with the battle line?  I see the spells do more damage even with 5 pts invested into a battle CA like  invocation strike.  IE the CA does 670 (with 5 pts incvested).and the spell does 874</p>

<p>Auto attack does WAY more damage than the CAs.  That's where the real inquisitor dps is.  You do need the battle line for the crushing skill, and then the power reduction in the CAs makes them worthwhile to use too.  You can fire them off in a lot less time than the nukes, and they do more damage since they have 100% crit.</p><p>Plus once you swap your Int gear out and put STR gear on, the CAs damage will go up.</p>

As Spin wrote. the CA have two benefits have to major benefits: - The base on STR so you only need one stat for DPS to worry about. (OK INT still helps a bit, but is far less important) - The CA have a much shorter casting time so you can use them without loosing to much time that could be for debuffing / healing. Also it is much less likely to delay your auto attack due to CAs and that is where a lot of our DPS come from. <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />
