"When equipped:

Increases the power of wards by 30% of the mystic's wisdom".

My mystic has around 1200ish wisdom in groups. Should I keep going more and more? Does the 30% count fully the wis if it's past 1200? Or will it too give diminishing returns?

Theoretically, you could continue to gain but let's make a quick stop in reality . . .

Let's just look for a moment at Wisdom right at the cap, 1200. At 1200, your Wards (and only your Wards), are getting an extra 360 points from your Wisdom. Having gear that allows a Mystic to achieve 1200 Wisdom is no small matter. As such, in addition to that 360 bonus, you will in all likelihood have another 700-800 in +Heal on that gear.

At this point, you're approaching +1100 to Wards. Stoicism and ST Ward will be capped. This leaves only your Group Ward as available for receiving additional bonus from Wisdom. Of course, because this Ward is considered an "AE" Ward, it receives only one third of the bonus that another Ward receives. So, instead of gaining 3 points of warding for 10 points of Wisdom, you would receive 1 point of Warding for 10 points of Wisdom.

In short, while theoretically you could push further past the cap, it just doesn't make logical sense in reality. You're far better off looking for other things, and there are *plenty* of other things to look for . . . spell cast haste, recast, heal crit, power proc, heal proc . . . even Intelligence to improve your critical mitigation.

The wisdom Bonus is not affected by caps. The + heal cap does in fact cap at 1100ish depending on gear but the wisdom allows you to go past that. Also, I have seen it confirmed that the wisdom bonus works past 1400. easy way to check it is bolster yourself if you are already at 1200, you should see a change.

Intelligence affects critical mitigation for Priests and Mages. Scouts and Fighters use Agility.

My Illusionist for instance self buffs his INT to cap (over actually) and with no crit mit gear on, his crit mit is 10%.
