<p>Firstly, this is from the perspective of a raiding bruiser MT / OT that is getting frustrated with the abilities given to us in the TSO shadows aa line and the nerf to our target lock taunts.</p><p>Since so many mobs in TSO memwipe, a tank has to have snap agro abilities to keep agro.</p><p>The snap agro abilities Staggering blow and Sneering assault in our shadows line are extremely un reliable. I have seen many times a mob memwipe off me and me using these 2 abilities AND divide and conquer and have them all just miss and resist, giving the mob plenty of time to swat some dps classes while i stand there casting in vain.</p><p>It is extremely ANNOYING that these rescues seem only to hit when you are behind the mob in offensive stance, which makes them near useless for a tanking role. Please make these endlines UNRESISTABLE, would it be too powerful or unbalanced? Zerkers have gibe - unresistable, guards reinforcement - unresistable, Sks - deathmarch, sacrament etc, Paladins - holy ground.</p><p>The TSO end line abilities aside, I have had to delete drag from my hotbars, simply because 99% of ALL TSO raid mobs are IMMUNE to it, making it useless. In RoK this spell rocked, not only was it a guaranteed target lock + drag but it was UNRESISTABLE which makes it 100% reliable to use if a mob memwipes or I lose agro, this spell is dead in TSO.</p><p>And because drag is useless it makes sonic fists useless too, which was used with drag for positioning / reclaiming mobs (when the ground was flat since if there is a bump in the ground, the spell bugs and doesnt work). Now sonic fists has also been deleted from my hotbars, a good idea i think would be to make this CA a ranged based large hate over time CA or something to that effect, make it useful for pulling since all we got is a ranged auto attack which gets parried off the bat anyway.</p><p>Divide and conquer is much the same case, while it can be used as an encounter rescue, it just resists far too much. I'd say its a 50/50 chance of landing, and since its an ae taunt it means most of the mobs of the encounter are unaffected. Also its target lock is.....yup not working on any TSO raid mobs, not even the little heroic adds spawn, I have not seen a mob yet that it works on. Why were target locks removed from the game? Was a target lock for 8 seconds really that powerful?</p><p>Its sad that the taunt I use the most is rescue itself, which is far superior to any other taunt bruisers have. I am pretty sure monks are in the same boat but I am unsure.</p><p>Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.</p>

<p>I agree, it's quite annoying.</p><p>plus I sometimes use staggering blow and the assassin takes back aggro directly ... what's the point in increasing position if in the end you are juste above an assassin that hits really hard?</p><p>our aggro tools are just not effective enough ...</p>

I am pretty sure monks are in the same boat but I am unsure.</p></blockquote><p>I agree with this entire post.</p><p>The main problem I have when offtanking even the little herioc adds is that if Divide and Conquer resists, I am stuck on the long recast with no other abilities to get encounter aggro save for a blue very short range AE against swarms of about eight mobs going after players in every which way, and since the reuse on D&C was longer than it was in RoK. I am having to rely on one ability to maybe get aggro every 2-3 spawns.</p><p>I am also in the same boat with rescue but the monk comment I think Strikethrough helps and also their positional taunt from TSO is 40% easier to land while ours is 40% harder. But with a mob like Ykesha if the SK has Grave Sacrement up it will just pull the mob right back over to them after I use rescue/drag/Divide and Conquer/etc without even glancing at the mob. Although that could have been an effect of the power draining damage shields proccing Sacrement or something.</p>

When doing the Ykesha fight, I hold one of the adds away from the rest of the raid, and it takes everything I have to keep him off the shadowknight. </p><p>I burn through Rescue, Control hate, both Shadows AA "Mini" rescues, Divide and Conquer, and even Dev fist and I have to literally pray that that is enough, because Sk's just rip rip rip everything right off me when he isn't even damaging that add. </p><p> Make all our hate gains unresitsable and let get rid of this "Immunity to Drag and DnC" garbage that has made it's way on to EVERY raid encounter in TSO. </p>

Nobody can do that.......even Reinforements for Guardian sorta fails.....its a ping pong ping pong ping pong......for 12secs then its stuck on the SK.</p><p>There is no point in trying to compete with an SK for aggro........they have it spades....and often generate it without even wanting too.</p><p>But giving us these new 'aggro lock' abiliites in expansion full of aggro lock immune mobs has to be cruel joke on the part of SOE. Warrior "Cry of the Warrior" is appropriately named because its insane resist rate makes us cry. =P</p><p>But from reading this thread it seems Bruisers got really hit by this even worse. </p><p>We can only hope SOE fixes something..and soon.</p>

/agree also. My bruiser may be an alt, but the problem of throwing ALL of my taunts and saves on a raid mob and still not gaining aggro needs serious looking at.
