<p>Greetings,</p><p>When you say 'froze up', I assume you mean that it went non-responsive? Could you still get back into windows? Basically I'm wondering if it was the game or the whole computer that froze. </p><p>Assuming it was just the game, then a corrupt UI/settings file seems likely. You can usually correct that by deleting the following files:</p><p>defaults.iniEqclient.inieqhardware.iniEqgfx_dx8.dl lEqgraphicsdx9.dlleqlsClient.iniEqmain.dllEqgame.e xe<CharacterName>_<ServerName>.ini (example jack_bristlebane.ini)UI_<CharacterName>_<ServerName>.ini (example ui_jack_bristlebane.ini)UI Files folder from your EverQuest directory. One or more of those files may be corrupt, causing these issues. </p>

<p>Hmm, well i am assuming that it is the entire computer that becomes non-responsive, I have tried to use Alt-F4 and also the control-alt-delete combo.</p>

<p>If it's the whole computer then out of date drivers or malfunctioning hardware seems like the most likely possibility. When was the last time you updated your graphics card drivers? If not recently, then I would suggest doing so now. </p><p>You might want to post your DXdiag file as well so that we can check for obvious problems.</p>
