Test Suggestion

<p>I very much would like to be able to log into test and live at the same time.</p><p>Currently it will boot you out of whichever session is the oldest after a few seconds.</p><p>For testing purposes, being able to cross compair between the two environments in side by side comparisons would add quite a bit of value.  It would allow me to more quickly identify gaps, and be able to compair apples to apples much more quickly and efficiently.</p><p>2cp.</p>

So that's the reason why I was kicked out constantly when trying to compare recently! Did not knew that. Thanks!

<p>It used to allow you to login to both environments, at least I was able to login a toon long enough to compare stats, etc. at one time, probably 1-2 years ago.  But then it changed so that after you logged in to the 2nd environment you would automatically be logged out of the other one.  Its possible that it just takes less time to do that now than it used to, but it does seem like it might be possible.</p>

<p>They probably had a watchdog service which checked the database for concurrent sessions every X minutes.  When it saw two, it would log out the oldest one.  Now, its just realtime <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p><p>I agree, it would be handy.  I can use a 2nd account but not everyone has access to that and it doesn't let me view the same character on both servers obviously.</p><p>agressiv</p>
