History and Lore of the citites Tradeskill societies

<p>As the leader of a crafting guild, I was rather curious if anyone knew the history and lore behind tradeskill societies such as The Coalition of Tradesfolke, The Ironforge Exchange, Tunare's Pages, The Dark Bargainers, and The Academy of Logistics.</p><p>What I do know from a lore standpoint about The Coalition of Tradesfolke from my understanding is that they are in essence, "the Freeport Mafia" controlling all matters of trade and business, and at one time were commissioned to create some statues and landmarks that are out in The Commonlands. What I know about the Academy of Logistics is that at one time they kept the sarnak army euipped and supplied. but there if really not much else I can find about these socieites.</p><p>I would love to know things like when and why these societies were founded, by who, their original purpose for being, and there current state.</p><p>Anyone who has any information to share would be greatly appreciated, and please site your sources.</p>

They quickly established themselves as masters of tradeskills and business. While the family itself is no longer as important... make that.. no longer in the Limelight as individual members of society themselves, the business has gone on to become Qeynos' trade society.</p><p>The Coalition is... well, yeah, a mafia if you will. They smuggled in goods and sold them all over Freeport, and apparently Lucan approved in their shady dealings to let them control the commerce of Freeport.</p><p>The Dark Bargainers have always just been the merchants faction in Neriak. Nothing more is known.</p><p>The Academy of Logistics... Who are they again? There's nothing on them because the devs didn't give Gorowyn any background.</p><p>Tunare's Pages are a new society born from when Kelethin was rebuilt. There's no lore on them.</p>
