Hey there, I have just recently downloaded to 14 day free trail for EQ2. So far everything has been running smoothly untill I tried to run the program, when I try to run it a station launcher window pops up saying that it is "processing..." and the rotating circle showing that information is being transfered and whatnot is spinning, however my problem is that it has been doing that for about 3 and a half hours now. Is there anything i can do or just see if it will eventually work itself out? any help is welcome thank you.

Might you have Windows Vista or Windows 7? If so, try these two fixes:

--

Fix 1:1. Right click on Station Launcher icon and go to properties2. Go to the compatibility tab3. Click on "Run this program in compatibility mode for" and select XP Service Pack 24. Check "Run this program as administrator"5. Click Apply6. Right Click on the Station Launcher icon once again7. Click "Run as Administrator" Fix 2: 1. Make sure you are logged in on an Administrator account.2. Navigate to the Station Launcher folder (Usually c:program filessonystation will contain the Station Launcher folder)3. Right click on the Station Launcher folder and go to properties4. Click on the Security Tab5. Click on the Edit button.6. Go through each username or group listed and make sure all "Allow" boxes are checked7. Ensure that no "Deny" boxes are checked and click OK.

--

If you have XP or otherwise, though, please let us know.

I'm having this same exact problem too. I'm not sure if it is a connection or IP issue (I live in Korea) or just OS / firewall issues.

The admin helps you actually run the launcher, which you cannot do once you've closed it after the initial download. But the problem is actually after that when the launcher is open but just stalls when you click to try the game.

It shouldn't be this much work to try a product...

Hey there! Hopefully we can resolve your issue as well.

So when you click the 'play' button, the launcher closes out and nothing else occurs? Or am I misunderstanding?
