<p><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">My old PC did not die in a dignified manner, it simply beeped, endlessly, so I shot it.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Now, since installing EQ2 in the new PC and nursing it through all the updates, I find I have some rather odd problems, none of which I had with my older, slower PC.  New machine is HP m9525f Intel Core2 Quad Q8200 @2.33GHz, 6GB RAM running Windows Vista Home Premium SP2.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: Arial; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman';"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">First, and most serious, I cannot see group members names and stats along the left side of the screen like I used to.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">  </span>I see my own at the top, but nobody below me.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">  </span>I have tried re-booting and re-installing the game to no avail.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">  </span>Group chat works, group options work as set, but cannot see names or stats which really buggers me up since I am the healer in most groups.</span></span></span></p><p><span style="font-family: Arial; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman';"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman';"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-ansi-language: EN-CA; mso-fareast-language: EN-CA; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">Second, what is the "Maintained Spells" window and how do I get rid of it?<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">  </span>This window appears to be a partial duplication of the window titled "Spell Effects" and as such is redundant.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">  </span>The best I can do to work around it is to set it to all transparencies and enable click through, though I would really prefer it gone.</span></span></span></span></p><p><span style="font-family: Arial; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman';"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman';"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-ansi-language: EN-CA; mso-fareast-language: EN-CA; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">Cheers,</span></span></span></span></p>

<p>Have you checked out resizing your group window? Maybe it defaulted to a smaller window that isn't big enough to show ur group members. Or check out your options. I just reinstalled eq2 on a better computer then my last as well and have run into a few interesting mishaps that ive had to fix in options as well. Keybindings/etc... maintained spells is same thing basically n I'm guessing you can get rid of it in your display options as well. Hope this helps =)</p>

<p>You can open and close the maintained spell window by hitting Alt + M</p><p>The group window will open and close by hitting Alt + G</p><p>That should allow you to hide/show both windows.</p>
