View Full Version : Recruit a Friend xp stopped suddenly

<p>This week I brought a cousin of mine to the game with the Recruit a Friend program. We were getting the xp bonus for being grouped as normal, however yesterday we were not getting it. We both tried camping and coming back and this did not fix it. I know he has activated the game because he is past level 20.</p><p>I currently have a petition about this active, which hasnt been answered yet, and tried to use Live Chat but it is down.</p><p>My account is going to be closed in two days, because I am letting the station access run out so I can go back to just an EQ2 sub. Does this have anything to do with it?</p><p>Have also sent a PM to TSR-DanielH about this.</p>

I'm not sure why you were getting the bonus XP originally, and it doesn't make sense that you would receive it and then have it taken away. I have sent you some information via PM regarding the situation and how we can correct it.</p>

<p>Piling on to this thread. I did the RAF thing for my second account. I got an in game reward or notice of some kind, so I thought things were working, but I've never seen combat XP or been able to get the 'Call to' thing to work. I thought maybe it was because of my UI, but I went back to the Default UI on the second account as a test and the option is just not there.</p><p>I opened a support case on Wednesday afternoon about this, but I haven't heard back at all. Any chance you can look into this?</p>

For some reason we were actually getting an 'ineligible for rewards' message in our system for your new account. I have not seen that error message in the 4+ months this promotion has been running, so it's a fairly unique error.</p><p>The platform support team seems to think that this has something to do with the e-mail address that the invite was sent to. At this point the best thing I can suggest is to generate a new e-mail and send the invite to that once. Contact us again after you do and we will see if that worked correctly. I'm sorry for the inconvenience this issue is causing you.</p><p>I have also responded to your e-mail with basically the same info.</p>

<p>i've just started getting a similar issue as well... the friend account ive been happly duoing with isnt getting the bonus xp and the goto function has stoped as well? is there some kind of limit on this level wise or account age? and if so where in the webpages does it state this? or is this just gu 52 strikes again...</p>

The 3x XP bonus and the goto feature works for 90 days after the person you refered switches to a paid subscription.
