<hr /><p>I have been trying to log in for the last 21 hours and counting, but get no further than a search through login servers and eventual timing out message. I don't see the usual forum rant that occurs when this is affecting a larger population of players and am concerned that my seemingly smooth download of the update was, in fact, not so smooth. Any chance there might be someone out there that could help? </p>

<p>Greetings,</p><p>You might have tried this already, but if you haven't, please try restarting both your computer and your modem/router. In many cases that will correct the issue outright. If the problem persists at that point, then please open the exception list for your firewall(assuming you have one). Delete Everquest 2, EQ2, and launchpad off the list. The next time you try to start the game it will ask you to allow or deny again. Select allow and that will refresh the exception entry with the firewall. </p><p>Please let us know if the issue persists after trying those steps.</p>
