Our group cure reads that it can cure "physical, mental, magic, and divine" effects on the group...

Are poison or disease effects included under this? How about elemental effects?

As the description states, our group cure will only cure hostile effects that are of the physical, mental, magic or divine dmage types. it will not cure any heat, cold, poison, disease effects.

Thanks. The "physical" damage was the sticking point. Some high level players in game were telling me it included the other effects, and that templar group cure was curing everything. This was contrary to my experience using the group cure. Even if I have AA points spent in the cure line in the templar tree.

Inquisitor myth has a clickie on 1 sec cast/15 sec recast which cures 2 of anything on each group member. That might be why people were confused in your case.

Here it is: Penitent's Absolution

Well, now I'm being told that only by spending 5 points in the AA line for group cure does it allow me to cure ANY effect. The person telling me this has since betrayed to Inquisitor, so I have no way of verifying this unless I find someone who already has 5 AA spent in group cure, or I respec to get 5 AA points there myself and test it, or I wait until I get 3 more AA points to get to that number of points in my group cure.

No where in the description of the spell do I see that group cure will cure anything other than what I listed above, but the Inq insisted that this was how it was working before he betrayed like 6 months ago...

Any templars out there with 5 AA already spent in group cure? Does it now cure noxious and/or elemental?

I have 5 in the group cure, in fact my cure line is maxxed (this is what happens when you get to 195 AA and the last 10 AA have no useful home). The person who said it cures anything is smoking crack.

Also this is the first time I really looked at the Inq mythical, man is it just me or is that much better than ours?!?

Your friend might be referring to mana cure which can be used to help try to group cure any type of effect magical effect but relies on someone casting a specific type of hostile spell to trigger it. It's hardly 'group cure everything' but it can come in handy in certain situations.

Back before it was changed, we used to be able to group cure everything...... Then they broke it up between all the healers and we got stuck with trauma and arcane group cure.

It was some anniversary or they were trying to kiss up for some huge mistake they made or something, I can't remember why. You had one chance to right that mistake....it was 4 separate training choices to eventually get all 4 group cures. Those were the days /tear.

If you don't recall it, you might have been one of those that Faush is talking about - that picked something else instead of all the cures in group form. If you applied to a raid guild when you hit 50 they'd tell you no...cause they wanted you to have those and you couldn't respec.

If you didn't raid, not having chosen them didn't have the huge impact than if you did, so you might not remember.
