Hi, I can run the game in the highest performance setting with a great framerate and no noticeable lag. However, after standing still for a moment, I get small green pixelation dots on the screen, usually in objects such as the ground, walls, etc. (not in the sky for some reason).

If I then move and run around they go away somewhat and then return when I stand still again. The dots jump around the screen, and in and out. It doesn't really seem to effect anything like lag or to really get much worse but it is distracting and annoying. This does not happen in other games or any other time that I have noticed so far.

Here are my system specs from DXdiag, I can add MSinfo32 if anyone thinks it will help. DL'ed the latest video card drivers just yesterday. Any ideas?

Thanks!

------------------System Information------------------Time of this report: 6/13/2009, 13:19:50 Machine name: JAMES-PC Operating System: Windows Vista™ Home Basic
Any suggestions with this that anyone has that might have had similar problems? I used a driver cleaner program in safe mode after uninstalling the ATI drivers and then did a new reinstall as well.

Dots appearing almost sounds like an artifcating issue with the graphics card. But if it only appears within EQ2 and under a certain circumstance, it could be a driver conflict or even possibly a background program causing a display problem.

Have you ever switched out Graphics cards in your computer as of late? Also, have you tested to see if the problem occurs under different graphical settings within EQ2 as well as different graphic resolutions?
