So....I will say I'm not a trade skiller have no clue about it and honestly don't care to get into it, but i'm a leader of a guild and we have that depot for the ones who are trade skilling away.. Tonight I ran into an interesting problem for my guild several ppl need to go craft outside the guild hall for quest I can only assume, and when they went to remove the items from the depot told them they have to be a trustee....I don't understand this cuase well its set for friends which each member of the guild has rank of friend in guild hall....

So what i'm asking is there anyway to fix this cuase we are on a dead server just waiting for the merge and for them to get the things they need is outragous on the broker and we paid good plat for that thing and well everyone should be able to withdraw.

Any advice?

Or just dump some resources in the guild bank.

That was done to prevent new members from cleaning out your harvest depot. I've had it done to my guild before. A new recruit stole about 10k of every common raw in the game, and several hundred of every material. SOE's solution to the problem was to make withdraws only available to trustees.

The overwhelming majority of guilds asked for having separate permissions to *craft* out of the depot vs. physically removing items. I think it was a fantastic change due to folks joining guilds as recruits and clearing out the Supply Depot and then dropping guild. The minor inconvenience for the small amount of harvest items needed to craft when away from the guild hall seems to be not a major issue to me.

Unfortunately there won't be depot logs anytime soon. Rothgar posted regarding that recently here http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/...20

Rothgar: This has been discussed several times since guild halls were added. Unfortunately bank logs are also a major source of disk usage and loading times for servers. We're cautious about adding on more that might degrade performance. We have already made a few fixes to the supply depot to deter taking advantage, such as requiring trustee access to take components out.

I would love to revamp housing permissions in the future to allow more finite control over who can use certain features, but its not something we are currently working on.

Had to take stacks of mats to BW to power grind to 30k faction. That was the worst tradeskill grind I know, as you have to tradeskill everything in your class (being a provisioner, that meant -- sigh -- woodworking with all the failures for not being a speciality).

If we had a log, much like the one for the guild bank, the harvest box could remain open for such instances and keep the thieves away (as now there's evidence who's the thief for SoE to punish).
