Aye, its not just nothing for Pallys.

This is now i believe the 2nd game update since the proposed fighter revamp was scraped without a single fix for the issues several fighter types are having. Instead we get a new instance and new x2 most likely tailored for SKs.

Well have to agree nothing for us again , no consultation and no fixes to the things we want to be fixed.

I think SOe developers are not evil, but bad-tempered, bureaucratic, officious and callous. They wouldn't even lift a finger to save their own grandmothers from Trakanon without orders signed in triplicate, sent in, sent back, queried, lost, found, subjected to public inquiry, lost again, and finally buried in soft peat for three months and recycled as firelighters.

Acknowledgement to Douglas Adams

Not SKs pulling mobs off of Consecration (oh, that was a dumb move to wipe 2x -- didn't stick around for the 3x either). Not Guards telling me my hate is more than they can hold (especially when I just recently only now increased hate gain). Healers upset that my heals can and do save the day.

You know some simple Pally appreciation for the tools we have, and use daily.

I Just dont understand how they can leave our deathsave the way it is or how it was even made with the stiffle on it..Its totally useless solo and in grps its a pain.

Stonewall has been taken of my hotbars..Absolutly useless except to use on pull which doesnt really matter due to wards from me and grp to keep me..If it gives me 3 blocks it would be worth it but 1 is useless.SK's got eveything they have deserved for a long time as they really sucked re rok/tso..Palys got absolutly nothing good..Holyground was useless unless ya raid..We have the best agro in game and they give us another agro ability..I only use on raids as ot and dont need it alot of the time to get agro.

Also we have the lowest avoidance outer tanks..We miss our parry on def stance which most other tanks have.

Playing my swashy for a few months now..Sick of not getting any paly love.

Maybe at lower levels it's still an issue, but I don't think it's as much a problem as it used to be.

Actually, since evade and parry are affected by mob level / epic and block is not... and we have the highest block rates due to the +shield effectiveness stat... do we really have the lowest avoidance still?

While adding +Parry would be nice, I don't see the lack of it as game-breaking for the class. Even if the class is lowest on average (and I don't know that it is), it can clearly be compensated for with a proper AA spec and good gear choices.

In my own experience, those Paladins with really low avoidance have it because they haven't focused on getting the right kinds of gear and/or have made some spectacularly bad choices as to what they're wearing.

I think it's a bit of a narrow view to say that the + to parry isn't worth it. Just because you have the right gear to push through doesn't mean that everyone has. This should be equal across all the tanks and at the moment it is not. Not everyone is at max level or has all the AA points or has the time to farm zones for gear. At the top end it probaly doesn't make a difference because of the curve, just remember that not everyone is at the same point as you.

I've seen all sorts of Pallies in the game at level 80, and no matter who it is, the highest I seen running around was 66% avoidance, and that's buffed with other class spells. Default Zealot T1 gear leaves a Pally with around 43% avoidance in defensive, and almost 24% in offensive. The T1 and T2 armor is pitifully low on strength and stamina, which makes getting jewellry to compensate and jewellry with worse stats for Pallies (I don't want general class jewellry, since what I need is a balance between dps, melee/spell/heal crit and ranged -- use the bow a-l-o-t). This is the legendary gear of RoK and it's the first players will get (and mostly on grayed shard runs at that). It's no wonder why folks would rather play with trash gear -- at least it's free. I'd just like to go on an actual raid and get raid gear that's is better than 2nd rated fable trade ups on the docks trade up gear. Oops, was in WoE and got a fabled piece that is trade up trash.

Dekain on Najena <---- Not in Stone or Brats hardcore club. But can find enough tanking gear to get decent avoidanceYou can still achieve similar avoidance levels... you will just lack HP, DPS, effects and some resists… but you wont need those unless you are raiding at their level.I have had no problems getting to 67% avoidance self buffed in offensive… Raid buffed in defensive is 79% avoidance. I am Main Tank for a Casual Guild and I think our class is pretty good. Obviously they forgot to give a 2nd final TSO AA like everyone else… /shrug.Please fix stonewall.

At offensive stance i get around 59-60% avoi, which is enough, deff stance (which i normaly dont use) i get beyond 68% solo, with my wive as brigant.

I´m also MT in a normal player RF (2-3x A Week), not for the reason that we dont have any other tanks, just for the matter that paladin can hold agro way beyond 80kdps without problems.

I play pala since start of eq2 and right to it´s end.

Anyhow, Stonewall should be altered.
