Network Cable Unplugged

<p>So this may sound wierd since it is comp hardware, but anyway...</p><p>I have been attempting to load the Test Server and every time it begins to patch, my LAN starts to flash saying Network Cable Unplugged. It only occurs when loading the patcher, and only with the Test server patcher. Has anyone ever heard of this?</p>

<p>This sounds like an overzealous firewall or antivirus.  Are you running that type of program on your computer?  If so, you might want to try disabling those programs temporarily to see if the problem continues to happen.  That will help us narrow down the possible causes.</p>

<p>I am having a somewhat simular issue. Only since the last live update, I can only log into eq about 10 percent of the time. Sometimes I spend an hour trying to log in, and still keep getting kicked to character select, over and over again. I have tried everything, turning on my firewall, reinstalling the game, running a full sile scan. Nothing seems to help the problem. Everytime I get kicked to charactert select, I get the same thing where it says a network cable has been unplugged.  Even when it let's me in it says that, but manages to let me in the game, but actually letting me log is rare. <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p>
