<p>From what I've read on the PVP board, they're pretty good.  Not to mention one of the most popular classes, right up there with rangers.  Some folks are a bit shaky on them waiting on the fighter revamp, but if you want to roll a PVP sk then go for it.  If you know the class you should be fine.</p>

<p>SK's are OP.  AFK and facemash the keyboard yet still alive OP.  Green > red OP. </p><p>And quite likely going to get smashed in the teeth with the nerfbat real soon OP.</p>

<p>There is no incoming nerf. If anything, other tanks are going to be buffed to compensate.. In the meanwhile, make yourselves useful if you're going to spend so much time in our class forums; grab a towel and some shoeshine, and get to work. My boots are scuffed.</p>

I think you'll have to find a Ratonga or Gnome for that.  Kerrans don't do menial labor.</p>

<p>I duoed nek castle at 35 with sk/mystic...mystic healed/prewarded maybe a few times on some boss fights and big pulls, other than that, my sk pretty much soloed the whole zone with little downtime between fights.</p><p>sks atm are definitely op, and yes, op in pvp as well.</p>

<p>I am not a big proponet of any nerf but I will say that SOE buffed a little too much. I would hope there will be some balancing soon or pvp will consist of nothing but sks and enchanters<img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p><p>I like the idea about buffing other tank classes but I would suggest balancing first rather then taking a mistake (IMO) and passing it along to the other classes.</p><p>As for the OP. SKS are OP in T8 (where I run) and so I just avoid fighting them as it is a waste of time unless they truely suck and know nothing about their class. But.. play a class you enjoy not becuase you can kill anyone in pvp as someday that will change just look at all the other OPs that are now playing a different main.</p><p>SKs are good becuase they have something of every class: plat, DT, Evac, FD, Heals, debuffs, DPS, etc. They are a nice class to solo what would normally take a group.</p>

<p><p>Sk's are ridiculously OP.</p><p>My 54 paladin lost to a 52 sk.  My pally has 26 of 31 spells master, the other 5 expert.  Most of the best available gear, (ie, Creeping Cuffs), all fully adorned, best possible adornments on almost every item.  My 54 paladin has 108 aa's.</p><p>I checked his gear in eq2 players (maybe its not updated) -- he's still in tier 5 and some tier 4 pieces.  And he beat me easily.  ***easily***</p><p>The fight lasted just under 3 minutes:</p><p>Damage / DPS</p><p>Sk:  25259 / 151.25</p><p>Pal:  10784 / 64.57</p><p>Healed</p><p>Sk:  11622</p><p>Pal:  17862</p><p>Hits</p><p>Sk:  228</p><p>Pal:  78</p><p>Swings</p><p>Sk:  266</p><p>Pal:  113</p><p>My disease resist is 5932, health 7000, power 4099.  He's blue to me, in inferior gear, probably inferior spells, and I'm guessing fewer aa's (4 days on his toon, 24 on mine).  Yet I have no chance.</p><p>And Paladins are pretty good at my level.  My only hope at this point is with Consecreate (@ 55) I'll have enough of a dps boost to hang in there.  Of course, Sk's get Tap Veins at 55, so who knows.</p><p>Sk's need fixed.  They are totally, completely over-powered.</p></p>

<p>Fact remains that SK's are overpowered at the moment, the ones that do not see this are pretty selective ignorant.</p><p>Im all for don't nerf the SK beef up the other classes, but reality spins out differently sometimes.</p>

<p>what u saw comming that ppl here cry for sk nerfs ? for sure its pretty [Removed for Content] current if u stand nekdock and use tab there are atleast 5 sks from 10player Soulrheever stand there 20h a day wait on the chance to 1 vs 1 any class exept sk paladin and troub or to save his champ title its boring dammit as a bruiser im hit on them and its like u hack on a wall i use all my combat arts hes on 50% then he ht and use his blessing hes back at 100% and im at 20% where is the fun there ? a class who only need 2 spells to kill enemys</p><p>(have a few friend who stop playing sk and corc couse its get to easy)</p>
