Hey there everyone!

I've just returned to EverQuest. Was hoping that I could get some information from the team. As it's been so long, I've forgotten so much. It's actually quite embarassing to be honest! Haha.

None the less. I was truly hoping that you may be able to suggest a good website to visit for information for spell details, racial abilities, starting statistics and perhaps some general information etc. Please and thank-you.

I played a Bard in EverQuest on Brell (Cazic) now. So I was considering a Troubadour. But I must admit, I love the Gliders and don't believe their statistics would be the best choice for the class.

What classes do we as members normally lack for instance runs? Or to fill out groups? Any help, tips and suggestions to help out would be truly appreciated.

Again I thank-you all for your time, patience and understanding.

As always,

Crystan

This is the best site for EQ2 information. It has all the information you could possibly want/need and is constantly being updated. It's free too. It has quest walkthroughs as well, if you need them.

Here is another popular site but, personally, I think EQ2i (the site listed above) has more to offer.

Custom UI's are here. The most popular are Fetish and Profit. Also free.

EQ2MAP is here. It has a much more comprehensive map system and includes maps that SoE doesn't provide with the default map system. Also free.

If you plan to tradeskill, visit this site.

Welcome to Eq2!

Race/class combination is not nearly as important in EQ2 as it was in EQ1. The racial stats & abilities are not different enough to matter beyond low levels. Any race can be any class effectively & gear will be the first & foremost way of overcoming any perceived shortfalls.

Play whatever race/class combo you want.

If a class is not available to the race you wish to play, betray to the other side & you are all set.

Thank-you for taking the time to reply! You can betray to the other side? Oh that sounds delightful! =P Always loved that with EverQuest.

As for the websites that's amazing information! They're already added to my favorites! In a heart beat and I am going to do some reading. Racials etc.

Now just to find a home. (Server)
