Before anyone flames, I have looked over the threads and over on Flames but can not seem to find the answer. For AAs, I went down INT 4-4-8 as everyone seems to agree is a good start, then to start down the reaver line. My question is how to distribute the AAs down that line? Thanks!

I recommend going down the STR line in the Crusader tree before moving into the Reaver line. As far as the actual placement for the Reaver line I recommend AAs in the ones that shorten reuse timers. Add the lifetap ability for HT. Max AAs in the first ability of the line to increase your proc %. Really though in the SK tree it is not about the fluff in the middle, it is about having all 3 end line abilities.

Crusader tree is a much better tree and maxing STR makes a big difference. Than as you can sink AAs into the TSO line, which is much better than the SK tree.

first I recommend str before reaver if you group alot, if you solo more then reaver before strength.

As for str I recommend the following path 48821. this is the minimum points to get to theendline. or ifyou don't care about hate 68801 works too

I solo alot on my SK and group very little. That is why I wasnt sure about how to put them down the reaver line. but will keep in mind the str line after that.

This is by far the best AA explanation I have ever seen.

http://www.eq2flames.com/shadowknig...lease-read.html

Personally I have gone down the STA line instead of getting the AoE ability from the AGI line. Now I think this difference also has a lot to do with equipment. I think first starting out, and not having VP raid equipment, Divine Aura is a better investment. Besides you get the HP increase in the STA line. I tried the AoE ability in the AGI line, but I like having Divine Aura better. Now that's just me. Again when I get better equipment this might change.

Anyway this link explains everything. Do STR line first, then INT to max spell crit, then Reaver. In the link the author offers a comparision between their build and the "standard" SK build. I recommend the standard build until you have really good equipment. Some of the added hate and hit points are worth it when your gear and skills suck.

Sometimes when you read posts like this you have to remember that they are written by people with mythical weapons and raid gear. So, some of the advise does not apply to people who are still leveling up. Either way though this post explains all the AA skills VERY well.

Hope this helps.

What ^ said.

And the thing is, it's a stickied thread that's like 2nd or 3rd on the list from the top.

Boruden is right, that is the thread to study when choosing your AAs.

I'm currently Int: 448, Sta: 444, Str: 2, and I've chucked 4 points in Reaving to start getting the enhancements. I'm thinking of changing things up and finishing Reaving before Str. I'll see how I go.

I've also been following the level locking thread and have done all that by 25 (with 35AA.) It makes a truckload of difference in fights. I've been able to (barely defeat) a orange 31, but still have trouble with 23+^^^. Still it's worth getting your AAs early, it will make leveling much easier, especially if you aren't soloing heroics.
