Fighter Revamp?

<p>It's being revised. There will likely be a fighter revamp at some point in the future, but there are no new details yet.</p>

<p>I don't know about it being "revised", although that'd be the typical public relations response. The phrase "dead in the water" is probably more accurate; since it was canceled, no part of it has come up on the radar anywhere. The only survivor was the threat meter.</p>

<p>Eh, some people didn't like the buff consolidation, some didn't like being railroaded with regards to how to tank and some didn't like the oversimplified playstyle brought about as a result of the massive increase in tauntage.  I didn't really care about the buff consolidation tbh <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p><p>I wouldn't expect to see any tank revamp any time soon, expansion coming up soon and if it has the level increase most of us suspect then they will have a far easier time doing the revamp as part of that.</p>

I wouldn't say dead in the water just yet.. The so called proc nerf was thought to of been swatted but we see where it is now..

<p>There were some good things in there such as vastly improved taunts and a slight improvement of fighter dps.  Too bad they got lost because people complained that they couldn't tank in offensive anymore. </p><p>I suppose they'll revisit it one day.  But that one day may be far far in the future assuming the game lasts that long.</p>

<p>Pretty safe to assume that what we have now in terms of fighters is what we will have until the game is well into its next expansion.....whevever that is.</p><p>I do not expect any futher significant changes/tweaks/nerfs/buffs for fighters for at least a year.</p><p>Just my gut feeling based on having played SOE EQ games now for going on 10+ years.</p>
