I have been intermittently having a problem with my client where my entire computer freezes upon login (at character select or shortly after entering the game) and must be hard-rebooted. When the computer freezes the graphical display malfunctions and strange colors are shown sporadically across the screen, like this: http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/...ir/IMG_0093.jpg Occasionally, rather than simply freezing on a strange, malfunctioning display, the monitor will go into standby after displaying "No Signal Input" as though I had powered down my computer, although the computer is still on. Alternatively, twice, I have actually gotten a stop error message on a Blue screen after a few moments of waiting. The second time, I wrote down the Stop error. Here it is: 0x00000124 (0x00000000, 0x84D35028, 0xB2000040, 0x00000800).

This does not occur all the time - it sometimes happens not at all for several days, and there are other days when I can play at all (I have not been able to play at all today). I have tried downloading new Sound and Video drivers from the HP website for my model, and neither has helped. Any assistance you can offer would be immensely appreciated.

I have also tried updating the BIOS to deal with the Stop message.

This looks like a hardware problem with the graphics card. A bad memory sector on the card seems likely. You might want to try a few different driver versions to see if any of them clear up the problem. If that doesn't work then I would suggest cleaning the fans/vents on the card to make sure it is getting proper cooling.

If all else fails then swapping in an older card(assuming you have one) will help us find the source of the problem.
