<p>Two weeks ago I gave folks a sneak peak at GU52 crafting goodies before it was even available on the Test server. It took a bit of time for the update to reach Test, and then a bit more time for my eyes to stop whirling like pinwheels over it and the two Live Events we have been testing over there, then a bit longer for me to gather up my brains (they had leaked out my ears by then!), but finally, I have a more detailed GU52 Crafting Preview for everyone. <p>Just a note for your article on reflective smoldering shards: I've seen them drop in TSO instances as well as RoK zones.</p>

<p>Even that isn't 100% definite, from what I understand, nor were they sure how many days it would last each time.  Once a month-ish was/is the plan, but that could change, for all I know.</p>

I've always enjoyed the attention to detail you give in your articles.</p><p>I think the changes are overall good, though I was disappointed to see "<strong>Due to the nature of these changes, old crafted bows will NOT be automagically upgraded to the new stats. Only newly-made (after GU52 is released) bows will carry the new stats."</strong></p><p>I've already gotten burned by buying an older MC weapon with lower damage and stats, so this is something people will have to watch out for. (Granted, I should have checked compared stats before clicking "buy," but lesson learned.)</p>
