I have a 31 defiler that I'm wanting to lvl. I also have a 32 troub and 32 coercer. I love warding. I'm totally lost now just coming back. how should I level to get AAs and get to 50?( I have 16 AAs) Where should I level while looking for groups? Can defilers do better dps now?

at 31 for groups I would say Ruins of Varsoon then move up to Runnyeye, Crushbone Keep might be a bit low but it has some nice quests to knock out for AA. For quests you can do the tail end of butcherblock mountains, zek, enchanted lands, and Steamfont Mountains.

I have no idea on the defiler specific stuff

Do as many quests as you can. Mentor to kill named you never did before in the lower levels to get AA. Splitpaw is always a nice few things to do when looking for a group.

I recommend going to all the lower level areas and doing the level 10 and up quests. It's boring as all get up, but it will net you some AA's that will improve your experience. At least do enough of them to catch your AA's up to your adventure level.

My Defiler took what felt like hours to kill mobs to complete quests until I had the Agi line filled out and the area in the Defiler tab to get increased damage in all the spells. About 46 AA's worth. Then life became easier leveling. Mobs are sure dying a lot faster now. A nice MC 2-hander with the end Agi line and some Str/Int gear sure helped for me.

I have her at level 46/62 AAs. She's pretty sturdy right now for soloing and grouping is a breeze. Not as fast at killing as my Fury, but she gets the job done in an acceptable amount of time for me now. Her name is Zakari if you want to check out how I spent my AA points.
