Launcher refuses to download most recent patch...

<p>For 2 days my game has been refusing to patch Via the launcher.</p><p>Ive restarted my pc, done alot, but it still stops.</p><p>while downloading the patch it stops and says download cancelled.</p><p>I dont click anything it just stops. When i hit download, to try to start it over, it stops again.</p><p>So i cant acess my LON or anything in game because im not up to recent patch.</p>

<p>Greetings,</p><p>That error usually means that the download is starting but the update can't be applied.  The most common causes would be Vista, and antivirus, or a file permissions problem.  Let's make sure it isn't Vista first.  Please run through these steps to make sure you have done everything:</p><p>1. Right click on the program launch icon2. Left click on "Properties".3. In the new window that pops up click on the "Compatibility" tab.4. In the "Compatibility Mode" area check the box next to "Run this program in compatibility mode for:"5. In the drop down list make certain that "Windows XP (Service Pack 2)" is selected.6. Under "Privilege Level" make certain that the box next to "Run this program as administrator" is checked.7. Click on "Apply" then click on "Ok".8. Right click on the icon and select "Run as Administrator"</p><p>Besides that, you might want to try disabling your antivirus temporarily.  Finally, I would suggest checking the patch log to see what file it is getting stuck on.  Once you have the file name you can simply delete that file so that file permissions wont block the download.</p>
