<p>Hey there just re-installed EQ2 Faydwer all-in-one..it updated fine, but after that it just hung there..the update button usually changes to play but it only flashes red for less then 1 second and sits there. I have no characters in the dropdown either (Character selection unavailable) . I have turned off all anti-virus software (did it before installing) and have deleted and re-excepted Launchpad as an exception for my firewall (there were no eq2 or Everquest 2 options..there is an EQ option however..but I am sure that is for EQ1.) I run Vista 64 with dual cpu's and did get an error the first time just before it patched that my machine was not strong enough (don't remember the exact wording) to run EQ2.</p><p>Edit: not sure which one..the XP compatability or disabiling the UAC did it (already had it in Admin) but it is updating ALOT more info..so this might be solved. </p><p>Thanks TSR-TrevorG</p>
