<p>Seriously, what the hell?</p><p>I'm playing EQ2, everything's fine. Suddenly, the game completely stops responding. Voice chat, and game chat are still working but as I watch people type, I cannot respond. Attempts to /camp or quit the game normally fail. After several minutes of staring at an entirely un-responsive game world, I resort to my last option - ctrl+alt+del and close the application by ending the process. Pop up the launchpad, launch the game, and bam. No matter what I do I cannot get back into the game because it tells me "This account is in use." Oh, "no biggy" I tell myself - it's happened before, so I'll just wait a few minutes for the issue to pass. Five minutes later, another attempt - still in use. Ten minutes, thirty minutes, and still in use. Is my character really just sitting there in the game (or laying there dead by now)? Why can't SOE see that I'm NO LONGER CONNECTED and remove my character from use?</p><p>Of course, my first response was to attempt to contact customer support, but clearly this is impossible as their phone *and* live chat support are only available Monday to Friday. I'd love to take their other advice of submitting a ticket IN-GAME but uh.. I can't get IN-GAME to even do so. WTB help.</p>
