Ok, so I finally returned to EQ2 and have chosen to be a dwarven bruiser. I know that I will have to betray and that shouldnt be a problem. I do have a couple questions.

1) Someone told me the easier/quicker way is to betray to Neriak first. Is the quest still really long and do I still have to kill 500 orcs?

2) While I am leveling which spell(s) should I go out of my way to get the Adept III/Master 1's for? I know with the pet classes (i.e. Necromancer/Conjuror) it would be their pet spells. I do not want to waste most of my time trying to gather money to get an upgrade that I do not really need. I know I will also get the choice of a Master II spell every ten levels after 14, and I was wondering if there was a suggested path for those also.

3) I think I saw the order of stat precedence and just want to make sure.

Str > Stam > Agi > Int > Wis

Is that correct? Thank you in advance for the answers.

Hey. New Bruiser here as well. I thought I'd just post here instead of starting a new thread. Sorry for the hijack

I'm leveling now. Almost near 20. I didn't give any thought to upgrading things till I hit T3 at least. The things I'm looking to know are:

Armor and Gear wise - unless something stands out, for leveling to mid-70 one should be fine in MC leather gear? I'm thinking the Dextrous stuff (?? or whatever it is that gives the STR/AGI stat) and jewelry will do just fine?

Weapons wise, I've been using found handwraps till now. At 22 I'm looking at perhaps Claws or Batons. Aiming for 3sec delay is the target I'm feeling

I've got a ton of lower teir loams from my higher level toons (this bruiser is an alt I just started) so adept3's easy from 10-50. Slight Twinkage

Mostly my thoughts are on the armor/weapons/stats. I'm planning on concentrating on STR/AGI nearly equally then STA, perhaps more STR. My eye is on balance dps/tanking playstyle, but as I have an 80 raiding Guard already I'm looking more for dps over tank. I'd still like to spank out instances and maybe use the bruiser for OT when I can.

Also, I started out so far AGI 4 4 6 as of this writing. Next I'm chasing the melee crit then the enhanced ca's from the Bruiser tree. Any thoughts on that direction would be noted and appreciated

So. See some of you in the end zone. Look forward to trying to kick some Tail!
