Most names are not itemized at this time. We only got 1 piece of loot off of the last name.

Maybe I just dont know what is "nice" for a Brawler DPS item these days. One thing I will note, the "shiney" blue effect is cool but it seems to have problems rendering properly in certain places. dunno if my video card was just glitchy or what.

graphics wise, that is a sweet looking Gi... I bet on a non-stumpy-legged dwarfy, it would look great! But yes... the effects are less than impressive... however, the difficulty of the zone I hear is not that high, so this is appropriete.

Great farming location for cool looking outfits.

Lots of -Effects. So another Shard of Hate as far as itemization? Items with obvious flaws that folks will still use situationally?

There is one part of the leather piece though that might just be a bug due to a guardian in T2 (or T4 gear) inspecting it... and that is the 423 mitigation. That is roughly 20% more mitigation than any other legendary leather piece in the game.

If someone else without mitigation + items can inspect this, it will really help in seeing its desireability.

No drops in the zone cept for last guy. Dropped the same item that was stated above. And its normal mitigation is 305... which is around what a legendary chestpiece of that tier has.

The zone needs to be itemized.

No brawler would ever wear that thing. It might be good for a melee speced warden or bard but not a brawler. Brawlers still need their avoidance even while not tanking because of their transfer avoidance buff.

If I understand this item correctly. All scouts and fighters only have the parry and defense penalty affect them. Brawleers are the only class that is hit by the deflection penalty for an additional loss in excess of the other classes. Additionally healers only have defense so they only are affected by one penalty, though i do not feel this is unbalanced in the case of healers who have minimal avoidance in the first place.

The Gi is pretty hot. 175 Spell and CA is a LOT. The other Blue Stats seem OK but not great.

If there's another heroic instanced Gi that is even remotely close to this one (offensively), that is currently in game, I'd be suprised.

TBH, I'll prolly pick one of these up for a lot of my melee toons, even my plate tanks.

Heck, if they want to add a new blue spacesuit gi, put it on the Marketplace or whatever. But with zone itemization, what counts are the stats/effects, not how it looks IMO.

Any halfway Respected Brawler wouldnt wear that at 80... BUT if those 3 -10 Stats got turned around to +10 for each it might be a consideration.. otherwise, meh just get the t2 shard stuff.

Why?

Let's hear your argument. The original robe shouldn't have even been priest usable IMO. It's cloth, it has mage stats, it decreases mage stats and, well, it's a robe, which with the exception of a few brawler robes, are traditionally mage gear.

Also find it funny that they're so out of ideas they're mostly recreating SOF loot. The fact that it is cloth means it is mage usable, but as such does not specifically limit other classes from using it. The simple fact that it is a direct upgrade to the SoF robe means it should be avalible to all that are using that robe.

Edit: the only way I would be happy with this not being avalible to healers is if they have another option with the same basic principle, but more tailored to healers.

Knowing Fyreflyte, I would not be at all supprised to see this.

A point worth making for both heroic instances is to make sure you have a few items on the loot tables that are tradeable. I've obviously not seen full loot tables of either zone, but I feel its worth mentioning reguardless.

Going to all the effort of making some of the loot from TSO tradeable and then implementing these instances without any would be somewhere between odd and counterproductive.

Do not compare the item to t3/t4 ones, they comme from the heroic instance. 175 CA is a ton and 7dps is 7% (unless you are capped). Most brawlers are playing as damage dealers.

My warden would love that to solo if she was allowed to wear it.

If you compare that armor with other legendary drops from TSO i'm not sure that it is that bad. I wear leather and monks are rare, so i got many leather pieces from TSO instances, chest ones seem to be rares and often specialized (vampire, undeads, etc ..) i don't remember seing a leather chest piece with better damage oriented fetures.

The target difficulty being mira3 (moderate) this may be a good upgrade for a t1 wearer or someone partially in t2.

Note the set bonuses make out of set pieces of armor quite useless, you can skip one piece of t1/t2 and still get the set bonus which depending on classes can be very welcome (in the warden case the bonus is not really that important, according to act it does not feed much the group in mana).

We need to get away from this Over the Top gear that has been excelating ever since Shard of Hate.

This piece is a step in the right direction, sadly the mindset of players has changed with overpowered gear (hence the "this is crap" comments)

It's going to take SOE a bit of time to get back to realistic gear, and sadly this is one of the pieces that will get lost in the transition.. If they even decide to make a transition away from these pieces with a grocery list of stats and effects.

So a fabled T2 brig here, and this thing just dropped today. Choices were:

Dauntless Void-link Chest

1 DA

25 CA

20 seconds/minute of +12% double attack

This BP

7 DPS

2 MC

2 DA

175 CA

There's no debate there as to which one is a better dps piece in this tier. There's nothing wrong with this item for what it does - if I were dps'ing as my bruiser, I'd love to have this piece as well. Is it a T8 fabled quality piece? Hell no. But it's as good as drops from other dungeons of this difficulty, if not better.
