Hi

Whenever I go to the station store it is always under maintenance and says please try back later. Yet my friends in game an access it just fine. Are overseas ip adresses being blocked from going to the station store? I live in Korea and work for the US Army. Just seems weird that I can't access it but my friends can.

Greetings,

The country you are in should not effect the station store in any way. We do not block IP ranges from accessing that page. Try using the following link and let me know if you get the same error:

https://store.station.sony.com/

Yes the link you provided does the same thing. Still shows up as being under maintenance.

I'm just reaching here, but I have a similar problem on one of the websites I use at work. Every so often it pops up with 'services unavailable' but everyone else gets through fine. In these cases, I purge my Temporary Internet Files (I'm forced to use IE at work) and also make sure I purge out the downloaded files (basically everything but stored passwords) reboot and it works without a hitch. Don't know if that will help your situation, but I thought I'd chime in with my 2cp worth...

I use CCleaner to purge all of my internet files and other things too. Purging them didnt help it still shows up as being under maintenance.

Hello I am having the same issue and can not signed in the store and any other site for tech support I end up with a failure when I try to access one of your tech site. I have submitted 2 request and the link that they give me comes back saying the site is always under maintenance.

I am also in Korea working for the US Air Force.

Thank you

This is being checked into - but there this an alternate way of going about digital download purchases if that's what you were aiming on buying. If you have Station Launcher on your system, you can go through the purchase process for any game just by logging in to the games list and clicking the "x/x add-ons" button on the game you were looking to make a purchase for.

Or, if you were trying to make another sort of purchase, please let me know and I'll check to see if any alternative means are available while the issue is investigated.

Also this has been happening since april of 2008 ive been ignoring but now i want to buy stuff and maybe transfer some characters around too. Around this same time SOE implimented some new security stuff and i wasnt even able to play. They were blocking all IP adresses from South Korea I had to send a PM to one of the TSR guys with my username and IP adress and he fixed it so i could play. I am wondering if the same thing needs to be done for the store too?

I'm still checking into it here and should have a response in the next couple of days. Hopefully I can clear up whichever issue is blocking store access.

Ok it has been a few days now and a new error is comming up it no longer says its under maintenance it gives me a big Forbidden message then says this "You don't have permission to access /worldsapart/browseAction.action on this server"

Maybe the new error helps in finding the problem
