Some also take time to honor all of their friends and loved ones who have passed on. <span ><span >The National Moment of Remembrance takes place at 3 PM local time on Memorial Day.</span></span></p> <p>The day has also unofficially become recognized as the beginning of summer, which is often celebrated with picnics, cook outs, and summer sports and acitivities. We hope everyone has a safe and pleasant Memorial Day holiday!</p>
