Getting disconected from EQ2 after 5 to 20 minutes [Archive]

i never seen Connection support forum earlier <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/2786c5c8e1a8be796fb2f726cca5a0fe.gif" border="0" />this is the post i made previously <a href="http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/posts/list.m?topic_id=451212" target="_blank">CLICK ME</a>ill also just paste here whats in my previous post.1st Postim using a 3G HUAWEI mobile modem E160G switched between HSDPA that is fastest speed or 3G, connection speed is something like 3.6meg so more than enough to play mmo'snever had problems playing other mmo's i dont disconect from the net or xfire after a random time usualy between 5 and 20 min i get kicked from eq2, still ingame just cant cast or anything all i can do is move about but ill not actualy be going anywhere as its just client-sidewhen im using my wifi conection everything is fine, windows firewall has eq2 exceptions to alow it through no software firewall on using mobile net no virus software running, tried ping tests they come through 0% lossanyone have any idea why im getting kicked but not loosing net conection?2nd postwith my wifi (home) netowrk i never have any issues with that at all conecting to swg or eq2 so thats not an issue.on the mobile 3G connection i have good signal strength, no bad weather, no latency at all, 0% packet lossthe ingame network monitor looks perfectly fine and the graph comes out just the same when im on my home (wifi) networki did notice one thing last nite when i was in a group on the network monitor when i have my issue, the data transfer stops downloading but downloads the voice data as im still conected to the server, i can still talk and hear people on voice chat :s so the conection to the server has not been severedone other thing when ive loged into launchpad where you select your charachter, the info on the right to that when you can view all charachters on your account that page wont display, so it seems like something is preventing data downloading correctly?i can get ingame on EQ2 most of the time but cant login to swg at all on this 3G connectioni also did a tracert and pathping, this was the results:-Windows IP Configuration Host Name . . . . ok well was informed that some hop's were missing so i contacted my isp to see if i could get them rerouted, they told me to go into command prompt while loged into game and type ipconfig to get some ip address and aparently i need to input that info on the computer or moden somewhere to allow it to stay connected :S

Greetings,Do you have a standard Wifi card and a starbucks or other place with internet access in the area? I'd like to see whether or not this is because of your ISP or a setting on the computer. Try going to a place with free wifi and see if you get booted like before. If not then it seems likely that there's a problem between your ISP and our servers. If you continue to get booted then it's probably a security setting on your computer.

What can be happening is packet loss (those are some high pings for this game). Run the ping for no less than 5 mins and see if you see fails. Interminent packet losses are hard to track down as they're random, but if this is a 20 minute shut down consistently, it sounds more like the ISP is shutting down the connection (or if you reached the max connections).See if you can stay connected by closing all background programs (e.g., browser, IM and third party addons).

I had to be in a waiting room for 3 hours the other day, so after getting my work done, I logged into EQ2 using my mobile just to see what would happen. Unfortunately I didn't have a ton of time to test, but I was in game longer than 20 minutes, I believe, without getting disconnected. Below are the stats from dslreports on my connection. This was using Windows 7. I looks like from the details that you are using Vista, which has the TCP RWIN scaling that should work well in this environment.
