I'm an on again off again player that is back after a year away. I'm starting over and choosing swash because I like the idea of sneaking through a dungeon rather than fighting every mob along the way. It also appeals to me to sneak up behind something, knock it down, and keep fighting while it is trying to get up. Besides, crowd controll and healing stresses me out and causes my eyes to burn. I went with good and fey because I like small characters and jumping from great hieghts. So, now for the questions...

Should I turn exp off every few levels to work on AA's or should I level first and then go back to get what AA's I can from grey quests and collections? I know there are arguments both ways, but do I need a lot of AA's to solo up? In rough areas I can two box with my level 50 pally.

I notice I can interact with some things while invisible but not others. Is there a pattern to this?

Where does one go to practice disarming chests?

How well does Walk the Plank - Boot Dagger - Pincer - Spine Attach combo work? Any tips?

Is it worth going after Feign. Any hitch when using it in a dungeon?

I am used to using a bow. Should I stick with thrown daggers with my swashy?

You dont need AAs to level up, that said they will make it easier. The more AAs you gain as you level up the better off you will be at the higher levels.

I notice I can interact with some things while invisible but not others. Is there a pattern to this?

You will find that the majority of things will cause you to drop stealth when you interact with them. Basically anything that will trigger a progress bar will drop stealth (harvest, collection, investigate, destroy, etc). If its something like a house item that you can move you should be able to while stealthed.

Where does one go to practice disarming chests?

Kill things that drop chests it the only option, disarm small chests whenever they drop, they dont have traps but will still up your skill.

How well does Walk the Plank - Boot Dagger - Pincer - Spine Attach combo work? Any tips?

It works well as long as you have Walk the Plank at a high tier, the more points you put into the longer the duration will be.

Is it worth going after Feign. Any hitch when using it in a dungeon?

For soloing sure, its useful when leveling up once you open the ability to gain the 3rd tree. Basically just dont get TS if you really want FD. No hitch using it in dungeons other then its a 30 second duration with a 1 minute recast so its not like you can pop up and recast it right away.

You would be better off getting max conditioning (gives 8% raw HP at max at lvl 80) and just 1 point into boot dagger with STR/AGI maxed if you do a lot of grouping though.

But again its all about personal preference, I have used the FD when creeping around before so it has its place.

I am used to using a bow. Should I stick with thrown daggers with my swashy?

Our only 2 ranged combat arts require a throwing weapon. If you want to use them its best to just use a throwing weapon instead of a bow. The Cold throw line is useful when leveling up because of its snare component (incase you have to kite the mob). There is a much better availability of good throwing weapons at the higher levels now, GU52 will be changing crafted ones to make them more desireable as well.
