My computer was working great, then TSO came out and I haven't been able to "enter world" since. I've reinstalled Direct X and EQ2 but nothings worked. All I can think to do is jus format. Any tips for me? And yes, i've updated my drivers.

Not using any firewall programs. I restored as many settings as I could to default. But what is happening is when I click 'play', the game goes NOT RESPONDING during the 'enter world' part. I don't see any errors or anthing popup. So maybe if I could get some error log or something, that might start to help resolve the problem.

I'm actually leaning towards an Antivirus on this one. Upgrading to TSO would have triggered a large download and Antiviruses don't usually like it when a file downloads something and modifies itself. After that it might have placed a quarantine on Everquest 2 which would cause it to immediately go non-responsive at start up. Are you running any kind of antivirus on that computer? Which? Have you tried disabling it while starting the game?
