When i start the everquest 2 application it goes to patch Ip_plugin.exe stops working, it scans files, starts patching, and then the download cancels. when i try to download again it stops at eq2_keymap_United States.lnl_delta...

Also... it seems I was deprived the free month that my game said it was supposed to come with because it made me pay money to be able to log in the first time.

Might you be using Windows Vista on that system? If not, let me know. Otherwise, please try these particular fixes.

Fix 1:1. Right click on Station Launcher icon and go to properties2. Go to the compatibility tab3. Click on "Run this program in compatibility mode for" and select XP Service Pack 24. Check "Run this program as administrator"5. Click Apply6. Right Click on the Station Launcher icon once again7. Click "Run as Administrator" Fix 2: 1. Make sure you are logged in on an Administrator account.2. Navigate to the Station Launcher folder (Usually c:program filessonystation will contain the Station Launcher folder)3. Right click on the Station Launcher folder and go to properties4. Click on the Security Tab5. Click on the Edit button.6. Go through each username or group listed and make sure all "Allow" boxes are checked7. Ensure that no "Deny" boxes are checked and click OK.

As for your free month situation, please send a PM my way with your account name! I can at least take a look and let you know what happened.
