Crazy eye

Simply put I have a paladin with 56+ (/play ) days played and am only at level 77 (Just dinged).I have noticed I cant seem to solo ANYTHING but grey. I am sure I must be missing something, but I am unsure what.I suspect if I just re arranged my gear and or AA line a bit I would be doing ok, but it is hard to know what to do.<a href="http://eq2players.station.sony.com/characters/character_profile.vm?characterId=296792102">http://eq2players.station.sony.com/...terId=296792102</a>My acheivemt line is as followsCrusader line 60/70 (STR 4.8.8.4.1) (STA 7,8,8,8,1)Paladin line 47/70 Hero (Max 21 points) Support (Max 26 points)Shadows 1 pointI seem to do alright when I hve DPS in group (Wiz, assasin, congie) but solo, I nearly die almoost every battle.I devotion (Master1) H.O. start Melee attack, heal, taunt, devotion , and repeat untill I win or I loose.Any help would be appreciated.ThanksCromedome

By chance do you know of any utilities that allow you to try various toon setups (Outside the game) to see what the various resulting status would be?In another game I play there is a tool that allows you to test out various combinations of available gear to see how it would add up. Was just hoping to find somethig like that here.Carl

You gear choices are pretty random and not really good. I understand you probably don't have access to much but I would probably use a full set of Lvl 72 Mastercrafted instead of what you are rocking. Get better jewlery also, you can get alot of upgrades to what you have just on the broker. Start farming Void Shards also and get your Tier 2 armor made.......Buy master spells also or at least all adept 3s

I agree with Stone, you really want to be wearing all plate as you'll be going Toe to toe, you don't have the agi to avoid hits and you don't have any roots. Cloth/leather/chain is a no no as you'll get pounded. Have a look at getting a better shield (should be about 900ish protection if not higher for you level) as the one you have does not offer enough protection for the type of fighting that a pally does. Adept 3 are a must. You want to look for Str and Int for higher DPS and Sta and Agi for tanking for your level, as you go up levels and get better gear you'll find you can tank in more DPS based gear. Also do you fight in Off or Def stance? I devotion (Master1) H.O. start Melee attack, heal, taunt, devotion , and repeat untill I win or I loose. Is this your solo fight or group fight sequence? If it's your group then you still need to be casting other CA's as quickly as you can, cast your ward (devotion) then hit the mob to pull (as long as you don't bring a friend, BAF) with Refusal and then hit your HO as it's moving towards you, move it on with Hallowed Judgement and finish your HO with Excoriation (which should be master 2, but thats personal pref). This should be before the mob reaches you. If your refusal is not up then start off with Verdict (Brimstone) and do the same as above. Wait for your swing, then fire off: Cleave Faith, Faith Strike, Break Will and Penitent Kick. Let your swing attack hit (you may need to hold off one of the above attack to fit it in as you have a faster weapon, you want a weapon with 6 second delay if you can get one). If it's gone then refresh your ward, hit your shield bash, start a new HO, hit Devout Strike (it seems to hit better if they are stuned when you do it, that maybe just me) and follow with Excoriation again to complete it. If it's not dead hit off Penitent Kick, Cleave Faith and Faith Strike as they all come up at about the same time, again wait for swing attack.
