Disconnecting during creating entities

<p>I just recently returned to EQ2 with a new PC (running Vista 64). I keep getting disconnected at launch when it starts the creating entities phase. I checked that it's running as admin at XP service pack 2. I also ensured that EQ2 has been an allowed program with my firewall.</p><p>Any ideas out there?</p>

<p>Greetings,</p><p>Is it dropping you to desktop or back to the character select window?  Is it giving you any kind of error message or not? </p><p>To start, I would try bypassing your router so that you computer is plugged directly into the modem.  That will tell us whether or not the router is the source of the problem.  If bypassing the router corrects the issue then we'll need to help you set up port forwarding.</p>
