Much fun! Raven did a spectaular job as host tonite.. Kain was pheonominal. Cal.. wonderful as always coordinating. These chats are a lot of work.. but like a softball team. They're a lot of fun too.

No chance to ask the question about when/if the broker feeds from the EU servers would be available then?

If SOE are stonewalling then Zam should advise their own subscribers of this. Otherwise the apparent lack of information could equally be explained by Zam being entirely aware of the fact that the EU servers will never be suported but not being prepared to be the bringer of bad tidings. Presumably there is some form of financial cost SOE are charging Zam and at the moment 9.5% of the data is not available. I wonder what the subscribers would have to say if it was AB and LDL that were the servers that were being left out in the cold? Personally I've given up waiting but I can understand the frustration of others who feel continually disenfranchised just for playing on an EU server.

Three players is not a group in the sense of EQ2 design. It's like going into VP as a x2 and, while potentially "doable", wondering why it's so hard. If you appraoch the game the way the designers intended then you won't have any trouble. Try and be smart and you run into the issues you encountered. If you need to tackle a zone then don't blame the design when you attempt it with one hand tied behind your back. End of story.

The bolded isn't it. What she said was more akin to somone saying" I walked to the mall today and man oh man is that a trip with just two legs.
Oy vey, people! ...

(1) No, I totally wasn't complaining about the design of the zone/enounters.

(2) I (we) fully expected it to be difficult and actually didn't think we'd complete it being an 'odd' group. Me, 73 Fury, Hubby 73 Pally and a Friend lvl 80 Guardian. We aren't exactly high on the DPS rating when combined, ya know.

What we did was have a lot of fun, even if there was a lot of complaining on that Mad Tinkerer guy and more importantly .. I collected over (10) pages towards a couple book quests. The 'boys' were merely indulging me for my whim of book collecting. Death in-game means very little to either of us. Combat/Quest exp off for all of us. The Guardian is really an 'alt', whose main is still lvl 53 .. yeah .. figure that one out .. lol!!

I had hoped to put off re-doing the zone for a while. I thought till maybe when we were lvl 75 (give or take another year from now) to make it 'easier' and slightly more effiecient. But, with the extra draw of Carp recipes .. I'll drag us back again .. this time with mender kits! .. lol.

--

I'd have responded sooner but in truth I was very AFK, having a million panic attacks & biting my nails to the quick while waiting for my mother to get out of surgery. I have no problem saying this as she doesn't read the forums, doesn't even understand the point of them and most importantly she came through fine & dandy! Now, I just have to be her devoted slave for another 4-6 weeks and she'll be back up and running .. or at least not hobbling ..

Now, isn't there something else to discuss in this thread ... Like .. any guesses on what furniture we'll be getting? I know I was *drooling* over the candlesticks and various glass bottles .. I'd love to have some of the book graphics applied to our in-game books but that's not a carp recipe ... I'd so love some of that wall-paper but I'm not sure the Art Team has gotten wind of us wanting 'panels' of wall paper .. Kinda like a 'wall-paper painting' would be cool to use in our houses. *ponders* ....
