Time for smart loot on books till 60 or 70?

<p>I don't see any reason not to do it. Whenever i mentor a new players in old instances they usualy get extremelly dissapointed after killing a named and :</p><p>1) getting a normal chest</p><p>2) getting crap in ornate (worst than handcrafted)</p><p>3) getting a master that nobody can use from exquisite.</p><p>Point 1 and 3 can be fixed. Apparently Soe miss a brain able to automatize re-itemisation of the lower tiers, so we cannot hope for decent legendary and fabled in tier 1-7. But adding smart loot to  master drops is simple. The code exists (tier 1-2) , probably one code line need to be changed:</p><p>if (chest->level < 21)  then chest->smarloot ==> if (chest.level < 71).....</p>

<p>I actually dislike smart loot - I am by necessity, not choice usually playing solo (with one of my 12 alts). I like....</p><p>a) the RNG - yes, I want to have surprises (having 12 alts makes surprises more likely to be good ones too)</p><p>b) not to just expect a Master/Adept for the useless CA I have no intention of using - which I have to read or I am committed to getting more of them until I do. I actually got 4 Masters for one such CA (slow learner) before I read one to dry them up!</p><p>c) I often can only do heroic instances when my character has reached the next tier - so what use Adepts and masters for my about to be defunct CA's - I would rather have random - might at least help an alt.</p><p>I would love to group to do such instances etc earlier, but as an emergency worker with a young family I sometimes manage no more than 10 minutes on a log-in - then 3 hours the next, but maybe called out anytime, so committing to a group is not a good idea.</p>

<p>Very valid points, i did too green instances to complete quests or simply go there when not finding a group.</p><p>Simple solution : group option -> disable smart loot.</p>
