Whats the most mitigation I can get including AA's. I know deminishing returns will make it hard but I want to get 60%+ if possible. With lvl Mastercrafted armor and first shadow AA that gives bonus mitigation to def stance I got up to 54% I figure with the rest of the mitigation buffs in the shadow line master harden (which I have) and good gear I might be able to get 60%.

Also im not counting beg for mercy because its only 10 seconds.

So whats the most mitigation you've gotten at any level past 50.

Post a picture, I dont want any of this I got 70% crap and theres no proof.

I'm getting up to 61.0% myself, but that's with only t2 shard armor. No raidgear besides my mythical and a ring from ToMC. With proper raidgear, I think a brigand can get up to 64-65% selfbuffed mitigation.

How many AA do you have and how many of them are put into the shadow AA defensive stances. Also while were on it how much avoidance can you get with a good shield. I want fighter type of defense meaning 60% mitigation and 55% avoidance. I play on the pvp server and im about to get a full set of lvl 70 pvp gear and our lvl 80 pvp gear is equivalent to shard armor as well.

55% avoidance seems rather bad, even without a shield. I don't know about brigands but my assassin has 55% mit and 72% avoidance solo buffed.

Because your defensive stance buffs only avoidance brigands buff mitigation and avoidance but the avoidance is lower. I think ours only adds parry while predators defensive stance adds defense and parry.

Incuding the 2.2% dodge/parry food, I get to about 66% avoidance self-buffed.

And that's with 4-4-4-8 on strenght, 4-7-8-4-2 sta and 4-5-8-5-2 wisdom. Also all defense upgrades from the brigand tree, and the first 3 lines of the shadow tree. About 170aa total ... it's just an alt.

As for a shield ... I'm using the legendary shield from PoF, with some shield block from the guardian's failure bracers from AoB. That gives me a 16% block chance.

And yes, I know it's weird to tank as a brigand. But I do it because I can, not because it's efficient (because it's not, the lack of temporary defense buffs is very noticable).

Ok next questions on avoidance. Do the + parry and defense have diminshing returns and if so how much + to defense can I have before it stops adding avoidance?

Tanks cant track or stealth. Both perfect for farming names solo and pvp.

Hard cap for all skills (weapon, defense, casting, crafting, harvesting) is at 520 for someone who is level 80, iirc.

But to get your avoidance up, don't forget about your agility. Just compare your gear by equiping it and seeing what it does.
