Windows 7 Issues

<p>I just installed windows 7 64 bit on my pc. i reinstalled eq2.... but the patcher wont work. as soon as its opened it closes itself after downloading some files. i cant even get to the log in part. any idea?</p>

<p>1. windows 7 is not officially released yet, so would not expect support outside of suggestions</p><p>2. it will run under both a clean install of W7 RC1 32 bit and 64 bit. Would look at the firewall configuration and what ever anti-virus system you are running</p><p>3. check your device manager and make sure that all your devices have drivers</p>

<p>Greetings,</p><p>Usually when the patcher closes without any kind of message it means that an anti-virus blocked the file from running.  Do you have an anti-virus on that computer?  Which?  Have you tried disabling it during the download process?</p>
