<p>it's usually cheaper to book a room/flight combo anyways.</p><p>they will give you a discount whether they want to or not just to get you in, almost all of the hotels are not running anywhere near maximum occupancy at almost anytime this year.</p><p>lucky i have a friend who works management at some hotels in vegas but i still haven't decided if i'm going or not.</p>

<p>We've been booked for a month now. Just confirmed plane tickets with SouthWest Airlines (best airline out there since they don't charge you for the "standard" luggage and AWESOME military rate)... now all we have to do is find a hotel for the first half of the week... hehe.</p>

I just wish they had cheaper direct flights from my hometown to Vegas, I am stuck on US Airways.</p>
