Lp_plugin.exe has stopped working

<p>this is the message I get whenever I run my launcher.  I just reinstalled EQ on my computer and renewed my subscription but now whenever I try to play I get this message, the launcher continues to scan, then download but as soon as the download starts it says download cancelled.  I run on vista as admin and in compatability mode.  even turned my firewall off and tried it but still nothing. </p>
