I have an air card and have a 5 gig limit a month. i need to downlaod the patch but its huge and takes up to much bandwith. my solutiion would be to go to a friend house download the patch put it on a flashdrive and then install it on my computer. My first question is is there an eq2 patch mirror site to downlaod all the patches and second how would i go about tranfering it from one comp to another? thanks

Greetings,

Sadly, no, we do not have a mirror site for the patch downloads. The patches are only available through the launchpad. Are you trying to run the game on a laptop or on a desktop? If it's a laptop then you might want to try taking the computer to a coffee shop or anywhere else with wifi access so that you can download it there.

Once you have the patch downloaded you can transfer it between computers with a cut and paste. Unless you have a way to transfer large amounts of information it could be tedious, though. Generally speaking, you can look in the launchpad update log to find out which files were patched and copy those over to your computer.
