In general for the casual tank, here's how I set up in EoF:

Slaughtering Line and the 9% DA end bonus is a must regardless of play style for holding aggro and dps: 5 Overpower, 5 Infraction, 5 Mar, 5 Lay Waste, end DA bonus

Stalwarting Line: 5 Fortify, 5 Wall of Armor, 3 Immobility, 2 Unyielding Will, 2 Sentinel Sphere, 3 Tower of Stone, end Block ability (I use it whenever it's up and in conjunction with Tower of Stone if you start to take lots of damage)

Crippling Line: 3 Trespass, 3 Separate, 3 Retaliatory Strike, 5 Decimate

Stability Line: 3 Rescue, 5 Reinforcement (very handy if you have a hard time holding aggro in groups with high DPS'ers)

As for cast order, I do this for single targets: Guard, Impede, Infraction, Acceleration Strike, Decimate, Mar, Retaliatory Strike, Executioner's Wrath, Overpower or Master Strike, then go through Separate, Trespass, Staggering Charge, Lay Waste, Precise Strike (I this and Lay Waste next to each other since they have the same reuse time), Gut Kick, Head Trauma

With multiple mob encounters, I start with Impede, Guard, Siege, Slanderous Assault, then the normal progression for single mobs. It's a good idea to keep using the green and blue CA's whenever they're up as guards aren't great for AE tanking, although I have no problems with that in my AE spec (KoS tree has 4 4 8 in the AGI line.)

Hope that helps!

Don't want to make another thread on this since I'm looking for EoF/Guardian tree advice as well, but I did notice this was posted before the spell changes. Can anyone "update" this? I was not playing my Guard as actively before so I'm lost on a few spell names.

I am basically looking for a spec (or two with a mirror) that would help in instance tanking and occasional raid tanking. Would this EoF/Guard spec also work for raid tanking or should something different be used?

Thanks!
